1. Did you learn anything from this movie? If you did, what was it?
I learned how was life during the 50's or 60's on the south of the United States.
2. What is the message of this movie? Do you agree or disagree with it?
The message was tolerance, and I believe that if everyone had tolerance with the people they share their life alot of troubles would be avoided and communication would be totally efficient.
3. Was there something you didn't understand about the film? What was that?
I believe that there was nothing complex that I didn't understand of the movie
4. What did you like best about the movie? Why?
I liked the most everything that had to do with costumes, characters, story, etc. I also liked their southern abcent.
5. What did you like least about the film? Why?
I liked the movie.
6. Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?
I don't remember the name of the character but she was the maid who made her boss eat her shit. I liked how brave she was and although she was scared of her husband eventualy she had the guts to live him behind.
7. Who was your least favorite character in the film? Why?
The woman who used to be the boss of the maid who made her eat her shit. She was really mean and you feel like the only purpose of her in this life was making life impossible for the black people. It is sad that you can find plenty of people who still make life a living hell for others.
8. Did anything that happened in this movie remind you of something that has occurred in your own life or that you have seen occur to others?
Luckily I haven't experienced that kind of intolerance from others and haven't seen it. But I can see that in other places this happens everyday and doesn't seems to change.
9. What were you thinking as you finished watching the film?
I've seen the movie before and I really like it, so when the movie finished I was in a good mood.
10. Would you recommend this movie to a friend? Explain your reasons.
I would totally do it. In fact I talked about the movie with my friends from other careers and told them that it was highly recomended and they were able to watch it since the movie is on Netflix. You can easily have a nice time watching the movie.
11. What part of the story told by the movie was the most powerful? Why?
Hmmm I honestly find the last scene the most sad from all the movie because it was so unfair and you felt how powerless the maid was.
12. If you had a chance to ask a character in this movie a question, what would it be?
I would ask the maids why were they so scared to do something about their rights
13. If you had a chance to ask the screenwriter a question, what would it be?
I wouldn't ask them something, I would just congrat them for their work.
14. If you were writing the screenplay for this movie, would you have changed the ending? Explain your answer.
Maybe I would like another ending but the sad endings make the movie what it is. The troubles make the movie intresting and special form others.
15. What feelings did you share with any of the characters in the movie?
Sometimes I feel powerless when I speak with my mom.
16. Did any of the characters in this movie make you angry? Why?
The young adults who treated badly their maids. They treated them really badly although the maids were the ones who raised them.
17. Did you come to respect any of the characters in this movie? Who was it and why did you come to respect that character?
In general all the maids and Skeeter were strong woman and because of people who were as strong as them womans are taken more seriously in the present.
